We are a unique community initiative that promotes the health, wellbeing and equality of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people in Netherlands.
We offer a quarterly programme of workshops which provide information and a chance to discuss physical health issues, including sexual health.
We understand that while regular check-ups are an important part of sexual health for people who are sexually active, there are many other aspects that affect our choices in relationships and sexual health. In addition to providing practical information and signposting, our information sessions cover a range of topics, whether they are directly relevant to our own experiences as LGBT people, or help us to feel more informed about the issues affecting other people in our lives.
Previous topics have ranged from HIV health in Men who have sex with Men to safety in relationships. Guest speakers have given presentations or shared their personal experiences of health conditions which affect sexual health, such as HIV and STDs. We seek to reflect the diversity of our LGBT communities within our programmed activities.
For information on our Netherlands-based health workshops please see the What’s On section.
